I'm pretty sure my husband and I are going to name our LO Noah Watkins. ?I asked about it before and got several good responses. ?

I'm concerned that I hear it is becoming popular. ?I work in two schools and there aren't any Noah's that I know of. ?I want a traditional classic name. ?Is Noah going to be a trendy name? ?I looked at the stats and I see that it's never been very common but is becoming more so recently. ?

?So what are the pros and cons of this name? ?

Do you know several Noahs? ?Do you know any adult Noahs??

    I only know one Noah and he's an adult. I don't think you have to worry about the name becoming the next Jack or Aidan.

    It was ranked #15 on the SSA site. I know a few people that want to use the name Noah. Don't let that stop you though.

    I don't know any Noah's either but it is our #1 boy name too. I say if you like it go for it. It's popular because people like it so that's not a bad thing IMO. I think it's a strong, classic name and I love it!!!!

    I LOVE the name Noah! It goes horribly with my last name, but was #1 on my list for awhile. It's so sweet

    I taught kindergarten 5 years ago and had one Noah, now I know two 2 yr olds and a newborn named Noah.  It's common but I think it's still cute.

    I absolutely love the name Noah! It was one of the final 3 names we went into the delivery room with when I had DS#2. I personally love it, regardless of popularity. I feel like it fits the description of a traditional, classic name. It is going through a popular phase right now, but I don't consider it trendy or anything. Then again, popularity isn't a dealbreaker for us since we ended up going with Jacob =)

    I know 2 of them personally - one in his 40's and one is 7.

    I like it regardless of the popularity. I think its a cute name for a little boy and a strong name for when he's an adult. Solid choice all around.
