Hating baths

Does anyone else's LO hates taking baths?  I give my daughter a bath every other day and she screams the entire time.  I check and the water is warm and everything else is fine but she still hates it.  Is there anything I can do to make this more pleasurable or does she just have to get used to it?

    even though the water is warm to you, maybe the temp bothers her. i know my LO likes a warmer bath. he used to scream at what i thought was a proper tempature, when really, it was too cold for him. maybe she wants a warmer or colder bath

    DD would scream through baths until her cord finally fell off at 5 weeks.  Then I could lay a washcloth over her and take the sprayer to her every couple minutes.  She seems to enjoy that; although, she still ends up screaming at the end of the bath.  Maybe try a bath toy that makes some kind of interesting noise that she can focus on?  That worked wonders for us with diaper changes.  Now we look forward to those times.

    Same with us. Our little bath temperature thing says his bath is too hot, but he likes it that way and screams otherwise. Making the bath water warmer really made a huge difference for us.. now he LOVES baths.

    DS used to HATE sponge baths (he screamed the entire time and I guess he was just cold), but he loves real baths now. 

    Do you keep the room warm enough?

    ds loves a warmer bath (almost feels hot to me), if it's any cooler than that he hates it. also, i put enough to cover his body up to his penis (he's angled) and i keep a wet wash cloth on his body and continually rinse him in his bath water to make sure he stays warm. he now LOVES baths!

    I just let my daughter scream through the baths. They don't last that long and I've tried everything to make them more enjoyable. Hopefully she'll enjoy them more as she gets older.
