Why do people make it so hard for me to be nosy?

We started our Target baby registry about a month ago because I just couldn't wait.  There are only a few things on there though since we didn't know the sex yet.

My MIL told DH last night that she bought something off the registry.  She works at Target PT so she gets a discount. :)  I checked the registry and she didn't mark anything off.

WHY?  Don't people know that I don't care to wait! LOL.  Same thing happened last year @ Christmas. 

Yes, I admit it.  I'm a registry stalker. Stick out tongue

Oh can you tell my boss isn't here today? LOL

    For some reason, not everything that was bought on our registry got marked off despite the person having it scanned or going through it online.

    Also, depending on when she bought it and when you looked, the system may not have updated.
