Anyone have one that works? I'm trying Tom's of Maine 12-hour and the people at the gym didn't appreciate it...![]()
I'm trying to stay as chemical free as possible, especially in the first trimester. I normally use Sure Clinical Protection (or other clinical) - unscented.
Re: Chemical Free deodorant?
I am loving the Crystal.
How long ago did you switch? There is an adjustment period where your body will be ... funkier for a bit when switching from a traditional deo/anti-p. If you can get past that first bit, things kinda even out.
That would explain why I didn't notice this much of a difference last week...
I'll try the crystal!
I use the crystal spray, and Gudonya too as an extra layer (when I think I will be more sweaty).
I love my crystal spray! It is a lot better than the crystal that comes in a stick and looks like regular deodorant. The "regular" looking one is hard and you have to wet it, which I detest. But it does work. I just prefer the spray!
I love Happy Pits (gabrielsaunt.etsy) and showertreatsoap.etsy
Both are the only things that work for me. ??

I made my own just last week! I use coconut oil, cornstarch and baking soda. It's amazing! No stinkies, even the next day. You can find coconut oil in some grocery stores, and an organic grocery will definitely have it. I would suggest using extra virgin, unrefined, as it has the most health benefits. You can use refined, though, if you can't fine extra virgin, or if you don't like the smell of coconuts. I took 1/4 baking soda, 1/4 cup cornstarch and mixed it together. Then I put in 5-6 T. coconut oil. If it's warm enough in your house, you should just be able to mix it together. We keep our house pretty cool in the winter, so I had to microwave it a bit to get it all to blend. If you melt it at all, but it in the fridge right away so it will stay mixed. Also, if it is hot in your house, keep it in the fridge or it will melt.?
To use it, I just take a pea-sized amount and rub it onto my armpits. Or sometimes I just pop the whole deal out of the container and rub it on like regular deodorant, since it's pretty solid.?
I am in love with this stuff! So simple and so effective! I will never buy regular deodorant again! HTH!
