DH and his dad talk about once a week. My FIL was asking how I was doing and DH told him good but that I was eating all the time. Of course FIL said, well that's not good. LOL. I got on him about it, because I'm NOT eating ALL the time.
Last night he was talking with his mom and I was there so I could hear all the conversation. He told her that I was eating about every 3 hours. Once again, NOT TRUE. LOL.
I got so mad at them and then went over what I ate yesterday.
1 granola bar, 1 hamburger, 1 chocolate pudding cup, 4 slices of pizza (we made it ourselves so those 4 slices probably = 2 slices from a pizza place. I asked him if that sounded like too much. LOL.
Then I told him that the next time he talks to his dad he needs to tell him that I'm not eating ALL the freaking time.
Men sometimes don't have a clue!
Re: So, I had to have a talk with DH last night!
I ate breakfast today at 7:15 (oatmeal and toast) and am now eating my lunch - three hours later. It's mac and cheese, plus the salami slices I brought to snack on. So don't feel bad.
All I have left to eat for the day is a pear...
If I don't eat every 2-3 hours, I feel nauseated. I eat more than you do, and I'm still in my 1st trimester! Today I had my usual b-fast (oatmeal and a glass of milk), a banana for morning snack, two chicken fajita tacos for lunch, a crepe for desert, and two tangerines for afternoon snack. I am making turkey bratwurst and swiss chard for dinner.
I think we need to consume 300 extra calories in the 2nd tri, so I am actually starting to feel hungry more often. I might not be eating enough!
I bet our DHs still eat more than we do, and we are making humans from scratch! My DH is making nothing but a good old fashioned pot belly!
So what if you are eating "all the time"! You aren't eating a lot. Besides, eating every 2-3 hours really is the recommended time frame to eat throughout the day on a regular basis to keep a more even blood sugar level. I was told you should never go for more than 4 hours without eating something.
So poo on them!
