Kindermusik class?

Have you taken your DC to a Kindermusik class? I was thinking about signing DD up for one but wasn't sure what it would be like or if anyone had a review on this type of class. TIA!

I took DD -but it was the infant class when she was 4-6 months old. She loved it though! The parents participate and when we went basically we all sat in a circle and sang songs, did some stretching exercises with the babies, let them hold and play with instruments and props, and walked around the circle to music with dc's doing movements let by the teacher. And the end of the class was always a relaxing song to cuddle dc's to. DD always laughed and giggled and had a great time. I'm sure for the older kids it's a little different, but I'd reccomend checking it out! Where we took it, you could take one trial class to see what it's all about.

We are in one now. We LOVE it! It's so much fun. Katie does not go to daycare so this is her chance to socialize. They work on different skills each week depending on if it's gross motor, fine motor, etc. I am amazed at how much my daughter can really do just by simple instruction or watching other kids. They dance, sing songs, read stories, do fun activites. They have parades, go through tunnels, use musical instruments, etc. We will continue to sign her up for the classes. We are in the Our Time class if that makes a difference. HTH!
