Due date worries

So I am due on December 28th and I have one major morry about my due date. I am a full time student this semester, and finals end on Dec. 16th, I am so worried that I will go into labor before finals and miss them! If it happens it happens, but with the classes I'm taking my finals are all like half of my grade in the class. So, with that being said, I know pretty much exactly when I ovulated and it was right after I finished my period. So, if pregnancy is truly 40 weks my due date is pretty close to when I will go into labor, unless its true that boys tend to be late. I just hope he stays in my ute until after finals, do you hear that Levin AFTER mommy's finals!

    Have you talked with your professors? Surely they would be lenient if that was the case. Good luck!

    i talked to all my teachers and they said they would let me make it up... no problem at all. i mean they cant punish you bc the baby inside you wouldnt wait

    I'm sure that your professors would consider letting you take the finals early. I am kind of going through the same thing right now. LO will be here in the middle of my semester. I am lucky that my classes are all online but I will still have assignment deadlines during that time. I am just trying to work as much as I can ahead so that my professors see that I am being responsible and not putting my school on the back burner.

    I am due at the beginning of finals week here...and I talked to my professors, and not a single one will budge with the date. I have the option of taking an incomplete, but in some classes, I won't be able to get a grade until next fall, as it is only taught in this term, meaning I won't be able to take courses that rely on it as a prerequisite. Some will do overrides, some won't. It's totally ridiculous.

    I have to hope he's at least 5 days late, otherwise I'm in trouble. All of my finals are at the END of the week, totally sucks. Like I won't have 10,000 other things to worry about without thinking about subjects like organic chemistry!! (not to mention how uncomfortable I'll be trying to squeeze into a desk at 40 weeks, I can barely fit now).

    Im sure that most if not all of my professors would let me take them either early or late. I just worry that either way I wont have enough time to study before them. Im most worried about my ecology professor, hes a bit crazy... I dont know if he will understand, I think he would be like" O, well you always have next semester!" or "a baby is no excuse to miss MY final."

    OMG the desks are awful!!! I will be so pissed if I miss them and have to take any of these classes over again! I graduate in the Spring and that would totally push back my graduation date! Plus my ecology is the last Bio class I have to take for my major, so if he isnt willing to budge then I will probably cry.

    I would speak to your professors.  I had a couple of classes that have midterms around my EDD.  I let all of them know up front at the beginning of the semester about my situation and they all seemed willing to work with me should I go into labor.  A few have even proactively made arrangements for me to take tests and go to clinicals closer to home so that I am not having to drive as far this late in my PG.  HTH and GL on your finals!

    I can't believe some of your professors won't let you take the exam either before or after!  I would talk with an advisor or someone in administration.  I would find out what the school policy is on medical emergencies and finals.  It feels wrong to discriminate against someone for being pregnant.
