I haven't really done any serious price comparisons. I just looked at diapers.com and they're only a couple of dollars more for the mega pack. I'm so hesitant to try to switch and then have leaks.
I have gotten pretty good coupons for Huggies ($3 off 1 box) several times. It is at these moments when I will buy a box of Huggies and I will take it to the sitters. I prefer Pampers as well
I just looked up prices this past weekend ... checking all stores and comparing amount in the box and costs.
Some places charge the same amount for Pampers but have a few less diapers.
I was bored n made a chart of huggies and pampers and checked places that sold them ... wrote amout of diapers and cost and went with the best deal.
ODDLY it was BRU .... but every city/region is different
Yep, BRU has been best for us. Between the coupons, gc deals and free box after you purchase 9, I'd say they've saved me close to $350 in diapers/wipes.
And you should see the deals I've gotten on formula. Unfortunately it makes it worth the hassle of driving there and dealing with their crappy service & return policies.

Same for me. Pampers are cheapest at BRU, given their coupons and free 10th box. But, I didn't compare Pampers versus any other brand. I was just searching for the best price on Pampers.
The price seems to be the same around here for a comparable box, but I can always find better coupons for Huggies. I've gone back and forth between the two, but am back to Swaddlers for now.
Re: Are Pampers really that much more than Huggies?

I have actually noticed the opposite at the stores near me. Pampers are generally the same price or cheaper.
That said, we had leaks galore with Huggies and almost none with Pampers. That is, IF we point his wee-wee down like we should.
