Anyone not have a dbl stroller ??

At first I was thinking I didn't need a double stroller.

Which for the mall and being out I don't think I do ( Cam doesn't even go in a stroller now ). But for walks outside etc I use my Bob at least 4x a week.

Bob double stroller users ? Do you like it or does it suck cause its so huge ? I love my single Bob

Re: Anyone not have a dbl stroller ??

  • I loved the Bob double in term of it's handling but our issue when we were searching was that it wouldn't fit in our trunk. It was too big and if we needed it for the mall, we couldn't take it with us.

We ended up with a Combi instead.

I would think you could get away with a cheaper/smaller double stroller for walks. Unless you're going on trails or something.

Yeah as much as I "pretend" I'm not going to go running with both of them, I'm sure it will happen at some point in time. Unless I find something that moves alot better with running, it may be the dual Bob. I'll have to become a craigslist stalker

  • I love my BOB but its big for sure.  I'd look at what your infant seat will work with.  We were a little limited by that.
  • I never doubted that I would buy the double BOB. I have used it a lot more than I thought I would. It stays in my car most of the time. However, I also use the single frequently- I am glad I kept it and both BOBs get a lot of use. That being said, the duallie is heavy. And big. And took a lot of getting used to lifting it up into my car. We've used it to go to sporting events, Marine World, shopping, walks to the park/grocery store, runs, etc.
  • I also bought it on a HUGE sale at REI around this time of year last year.
  • You could test out my P&T if you'd like. It's older but still pushes really great.  I'm not sure how it'd be for running but I bet Goore's could answer that question.
Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.

  • I would definitely get the double BOB especially because you are a runner. I have both a single and double BOB Revolution and love them! I don't consider it to be much larger than any other double and it handles so nicely. It definitely is heavier when running with two, but you get used to it. I use mine all the time, not just for running too.
