Protein sensitive LOs-Moms come in!!

I was just wondering if any of yalls LOs had issues with rice cereal.

We started DS on rice cereal this weekend and he has been having poop issues. (TMI-sorry) But its the complete opposite of what rice cereal normally does. He had a little bit of diarrhea yesterday, a low grade fever, and his cheeks turned pink after he ate. I talked to the pedi this morning and they said not to give him rice cereal for a couple of days and then try oatmeal.

I was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions or advice. I appreciate it!

    My dr. warned me that my DS may have issues doing #2 when we started him on rice. Which he did...so every now and then we'lll give him a bottle of just formula to "loosen" things up if you know what I mean. The dr. also said not to panic if he doesn't go #2 for a day or so (but that's just not normal if you ask me). So I'd try to slowing mix it in or alternate in his bottle to see how that works. Good luck!
