A treat for back to work.

I am trying really hard to see the positives to going back to work and also to set up treats for myself to use at work (cute notepads, a couple of new work tops, etc.). ?If you read my reply to the post below about being emotional then clearly I am kind of a wreck and not being very positive.

Anyways, I wanted to post one thing that I am excited about, and it is something that some of you might like too.

If you are a member of Costco, their online photo center sells notebooks for about $8, and you can customize them with a photo or two. ?You can choose a calendar/dayplanner, an address book, a blank notebook, and some other choices. ?I made myself a dayplanner/calendar book with a big photo of my gorgeous baby boy on the front, and one of my DS and DH on the inside cover. ?It will let me be organized for home and work, and keep my two favorite guys with me all of the time. ?

Sorry I can't post a link, you have to log in to Costco online to get to the photo center store site. ?If you don't use Costco, I bet you can get the same thing online somewhere else.?

    That is cool! My first day back, I brought in bagels and cream cheese for everyone and made plans with a friend for lunch.  It definitely helped!

    That's a very nice idea!  It's great to have pics of our babies at work.

    I go back on the 26th. Even though DD is my second baby and I went through this already, my heart feels VERY heavy right now.  Good luck to you those first few days.  Things do get better; that's what I keep telling myself. :-)

    That was my 'super emotional' post. I'm kind of a wreck right now too. I can't help but wonder if having pics of DD around might just make me cry?

    Cute idea!

    For what it's worth, I thought the build up was way worse than the reality, once I got settled back in at work and DS got used to daycare.  I would give yourself a few weeks after you get back to settle in, but I bet it will go smoothly and not be nearly as bad as you might think.  I was VERY emotional before I went back to work and we had a rough week or two of adjustment while DS got used to his caregivers.  But after that, it's been pretty smooth sailing and I love working and DS has done so well at daycare.

    I know, I'm not sure either. ?I think it might make me sad at first, but then I think it will just make me happy to have his pictures. ?And if not, I'll hide it in a drawer! ??
