Hello! I've been on the bump for a while but just found this board. I just had my daughter, Madelyn, 4 weeks ago today. She is my first baby and I am having to learn how to go about this new lifestyle (on maternity leave for 12 weeks and breastfeeding-- so going from being a young, busy RN to temporary stay-at-home Madelyn's mommy and food source

Welcome! I just started posting here recently, too. I'm pregnant with my first, due 11/27 and can't wait! I feel like I'm about to pop but have 6(ish) weeks left, ugh. I'm a little nervous about the transition to the new lifestyle you've described but am just hoping for the best! Do you belong to any New Mom's groups or anything? I'm delivering at Providence Portland and they have a free one there but am curious what else is out there.

Maternity leave can be tricky, with all of the changes in your life! The Working Moms board has been GREAT for me, it really helps to give you the support you need, alot of Moms have anxiety right before they go back to work.
Linzmarie-- I delivered at Prov. Milwaukie and had a fantastic experience there. I also work for Providence and think all of their hospitals and facilities are pretty great!
I have not joined a new moms group but I really want to. I should look into that- I've just been so busy/overwhelmed with taking care of the baby, but I definitly have the time and I know it would be a good thing!
