cereal ? for those that use RTF formula

I use Alimentum RTF and they only come in a big 32 oz. bottle or 8 oz. cans. I just started feeding DS cereal today and I am wondering how you do it with this. RTF has to be kept in the fridge so it's very cold..i usally warm his bottles to room temp. Do you take a tiny bit and warm it each time you make cereal? This seems a little time consuming and I am wondering if i am just not thinking of something here....any tips?

  • Mix it with the cereal and pop it in the microwave.  My cereal has instructions on the side for heating instructions.

  • Ok duh me! I was just not thinking of something. hahaa. do you make it warm or just enough to take the chill off?

  • Warm a bottle, pour some in the cereal, then use the rest of the bottle for your LO to wash the cereal down. DD usually has a small bottle after cereal anyway.

We don't use RTF.  I just remember reading it on the box today.  It says serve as-is or warm.  If your DS likes room temp, I would warm it up a little more than to take the chill off.
