Heart Burn=Lots of hair

Did you have a lot of heartburn during your pregnancy and if you did, was your child born with lots of hair?

The tech told me the other day that our little one has hair...how much we don't know....

    so not true for me...... I had awful heartburn and ate tums like candy and LO has almost no hair!!!

    Completely true for me.  Tons of heartburn and she had tons of hair. 

    I read that there was a study done and there is some truth to the OWT.  Something about the hormones (Ithink) that cause hair to grow on LO also can cause heartburn.

    I had crazy heartburn and the first thing I asked when DS was born was if he had hair..  It proved true for me because he had a lot of hair. 

     

    It is just an old wives tale though... they can see it on ultrasounds.

    I had heartburn every night late in 3rd tri, and DS was born with a nice amount of hair. ?Surprised me, I guess I was expecting him to be bald!

    I had some heartburn on and off... more towards the end. Not as bad as some ladies it seemed though. DS was born with quite a bit of hair. It's always the first thing people say!

    So true for me! Tums wouldn't do it. Maalox wouldn't do it. I wasn't sleeping at night. I was vomiting bile (in my mouth). Finally Dr. gave me an Rx and I was sooo much better. Turns out DD had lots of fuzzy hair!!

    I had quite a bit of heartburn and he was born today with not so much hair.  ;-)

    DD has more hair than her daddy, and I only had mild heartburn towards the end of my pregnancy...

    Zero heartburn. Lots of hair. None of the OWT's worked for me... I had no pregnancy symptoms.

    Yep, it was written up in the New York Times.

    DS was born with a ton of hair, but I didn't have much heartburn. Just very mild heartburn the last couple weeks.

    VERY TRUE in my case.

    I had heartburn starting in 2ndt tri and it continued to get worse throughout. It was so bad towards the end - didn't matter what I ate or drank.

    My DS was born with a full head of hair.?

    I'm having tons of heartburn and now I even had some acid reflux.  I just have to  make sure that I don't eat after seven for the acid reflux and that's been working beautifully.  DH has nice thick hair and I have fine curly hair.  I was born with very little hair, so I'm hoping lo takes after daddy.

    An old wives' tale for sure. I had lots of heartburn and DS has almost no hair, lol!
    Me: 44 DH: 42. DS born healthy at 40 weeks 8/24/09. TTC since then with no luck or ART. Surprise BFP 8/6/14... MMC @ 8 weeks 4 days... Miss you everyday sweet baby angel.
