Hmmph, I don't think I like that woman. It's weird. I have an immediate dislike for her.
Haha, I felt the same way as soon as I started reading. But I read the whole thing, and even if she is writing in a dramatic way, she still has a valid complaint. And for everyone saying she way overreacted, I would like to see your reaction if it happened to you. Of course it wasn't like they were taking him and never going to give him back, but ANYTHING could have happened in those five minutes he was out of her sight.
Screaming, crying and almost blacking out is over reacting. I think if she had acted in a calm manner she would have gotten her answers and it would have taken way less time.
She has an anxiety disorder. You obviously are not educated on the subject.
Thanks for being a b!tch. I am glad you are going to educate me on it.
I think she is just pointing out that staying calm when you have anxiety disorder is like telling a hungry baby not to cry. People react to things differently for their own reasons. This does not make her over dramatic. She can't help it.
I don't see where I was being a b!tch by saying that. What I was saying is do not judge if you aren't educated on the matter. Saying that someone is overreacting when they have a disorder like that & than put in a high anxiety situation to boot is being ignorant. Call that b!tchy if you like. I'll just call it empathy.
I had forgotten to take mine when I traveled alone disabled with a toddler. I managed to keep it together for the most part, but if this had happened...
Quite frankly I don't know if meds ahead of time would have helped in her situation. Sometimes the panic attack goes beyond what a normal dose can help.
Xanax is usually taken on an as-needed basis. Therefore, not everyone pops an anti-anxiety pill just b/c or even as a preventative. She had no idea it was going to turn into that type of situation.
That, too. I forgot Xanax was as needed. I take preventatives.
