Do you think you 'look' like a mom?

Now maybe it's just me, but when I was single and without child, as soon as my friends had kids, how I saw them changed. It might be because most of them cut their hair and I just associated it with a 'mom' cut. The clothes they bought were suddenly 'mom' clothes.

How do you think you look now? Do you see a mommy in the mirror or the same ol' you?

Personally, I haven't changed anything including the clothes I wear so I don't see mommy in the mirror but maybe I do to others. I'm just curious.

I feel like a scraggly mess. I wear sweatpants all day long and wear my hair in a ponytail. I don't even know if I have jeans that fit because I haven't put a pair on in over 6 months. That's no exaggeration either.

not at all. I have always looked young for my age and I'm pretty sure that I get 'omg teenage mom' stares every so often.

I don't think so... I like to think I am "One Hot Mama"... or maybe I am just telling myself that. Muahaha. I guess it doesn't matter how nicely you're dressed, if you're covered in spitup, you look like a mom. Wink

No I don't think I "look like a mom" I still wear my t-shirts and sweats like I'm playing basketball in college 2yrs ago lol BUT then again that is pretty much the ONLY pants that I fit into comfortably! I don't have any jeans right now that fit well except 1 pair that I fit into at 3mo's preg...

It's pretty open I think. Whatever you associate it to be... maybe how someone is dressed, the style of their hair, the way they speak to someone (you know those friends who speak like they are talking to a kid all the time) or maybe just the fact that they look more mature (or just tired!).

I still don't feel like a mom yet... I think that it's still so new to me that I don't look in the mirror and see a mom.

We live in a college town, so lately when I go places (especially with DS) and see all the young college girls in their trendy outfits, I definitely feel like I look "mommish".

But if I got dressed up to go out alone I like to think that I wouldn't look that way.

I think I lok like a mom ... no time to do my hair anymore ... bags under my eyes from lack of sleep ... and more "mom" appropriate tops to hide my midsection and accomodate my boobs

I dont think I look any different than pre baby. But when shopping I have told myself not to buy certain things because I am a mom now.. LOL

No, not at all. Even though I'm 26, I look younger. I'm gonna AW a bit: I'm actually weighing less now than I did pre-preg. Aside from my big boobs, you couldn't tell, based on my looks.
