Now maybe it's just me, but when I was single and without child, as soon as my friends had kids, how I saw them changed. It might be because most of them cut their hair and I just associated it with a 'mom' cut. The clothes they bought were suddenly 'mom' clothes.
How do you think you look now? Do you see a mommy in the mirror or the same ol' you?
Personally, I haven't changed anything including the clothes I wear so I don't see mommy in the mirror but maybe I do to others. I'm just curious.
Re: Do you think you 'look' like a mom?
I feel like a scraggly mess. I wear sweatpants all day long and wear my hair in a ponytail. I don't even know if I have jeans that fit because I haven't put a pair on in over 6 months. That's no exaggeration either.
What does being 22 have to do with it?
ETAL nevermind. I see where you were going with that. Don't mind me. Carry on, carry on.
lol no one would know im a mom unless i carry ds with me everywhere. i look like a highschooler! lol
"You're gonna miss this You're gonna want this back You're gonna wish these days hadn't gone by so fast..."
yea....i always think i don't look like a mom because of my age [23]..i should ask you.. do i look like a mom? see pic below.. i took this the other day in the living room
It's pretty open I think. Whatever you associate it to be... maybe how someone is dressed, the style of their hair, the way they speak to someone (you know those friends who speak like they are talking to a kid all the time) or maybe just the fact that they look more mature (or just tired!).
I still don't feel like a mom yet... I think that it's still so new to me that I don't look in the mirror and see a mom.
yer hawt. LOL
We live in a college town, so lately when I go places (especially with DS) and see all the young college girls in their trendy outfits, I definitely feel like I look "mommish".
But if I got dressed up to go out alone I like to think that I wouldn't look that way.
hehehehe
I think I lok like a mom ... no time to do my hair anymore ... bags under my eyes from lack of sleep ... and more "mom" appropriate tops to hide my midsection and accomodate my boobs
me too
