Maternity Photos

Not sure how it will turn out but...... We really wanted a new camera before the baby so we are helping curb the cost by doing Maternity photos ourselves.  We figure put the money we save DIYing towards a new camera.  

We have a tripod and a new SLR canon.   Great plan in theory.  We shall see.  Anyone do their own?  What do you think?

    We will be attempting our own.  DH has been working on his photography skills for a year or two now so we're hoping they come out okay. GL! Can't wait to see them!

    I did my own, but I turned out blurry in some of them... but I did them ALL by myself. We're planning on doing some more... with DH helping, but first it needs to STOP RAINING.

    We did our own too!  No family here and no friends with photog skills.

    So, last Sunday we went to the local Botanical Gardens and set up the tri-pod in several diff places.  and several of them turned out pretty good.

    My advice-

    1.  If you have a goofy side at all, take several silly ones, some of my favorites are of us being "dumb"

    2.  Take more than you think you should.  Several that I thought looked good when looking at the "playback" while we were still there, were actually very washed out and too bright, so all of those poses were no good.  But the ones we took that were in a few shadow-y areas (under tress around 2 in the afternoon) turned out the best

    i've been planing on doing my own forever and keep slacking off.  hopefully this weekend

    i've done a self shoot before and came out pretty good.. so hopefully this one will come out good too.

    I did a couple myself with my nikon camera. I really didn't feel comfortable doing professional ones plus it saves a ton of money. I plan on doing a few more, but the ones I have done already turned out nice.

    My Brother is going to do some for us. I come from a family of photographers so I could have asked anyone. LOL!

    Like Shania Baby. It won't stop raining here. I'm also waiting for the trees to turn, if it stops raining.
