My mother is throwing us a shower and I want to give her a personalized gift. This is her first grandchild and she is SUPER excited. I would love to give her a personalized grandmother gift; either something I make or purchase, I am just completely stumped as to what. Any cool ideas?
Thanks!
Re: Grandma to Be Hostess Gift
You could make a grandma quilt if you sew. Embroider baby's name on one square. Save other squares for length, weight, date, a picture. All around you can either do fabrics you like or she would like....or something that relates to the season the baby is born or the fact that it is a girl and all little girl things (sugar 'n spice).
You can also have a picture frame engraved with Grandma and your DD's name. Then take a pic every so often of the two of them so she can change out the photos.
The quilt is a great idea and I am crafty but I definitely do not sew. I was thinking a frame too so maybe that will be it.
Thanks!
The Rosemary Company has some great ideas for grandma and grandpa, including some cute frames. https://www.rosemarycompany.com/4942.html#Grandparents
They also have a new daddy toolbelt that is ADORABLE! A lot of wives buy one for their DH or sometimes the Mom of the Dad to be buys one for the shower. Good luck.
If you have a Things Remembered near you...see what they have there for her. Maybe a frame you can have personalized where she can put a pic of herself and LO.
