Ryan got H1N1 Vacc

We got Ryan the vaccine today.  My brother who lives in cinci already had H1N1 a month ago.  Then my FIL and MIL got it just a few weeks ago (MIL still recovering) so FIL (a pedi) called us and told us to go to the health clinic and wait in the 2 hr line to get it since Ryan had RDS when he was born and has gotten pneumonia already this year.  Luckily last night our pedi called us and said they had the vaccine and Ryan was a high risk patient and got first dibs!!! So we went in this morning and didn't wait at all!  I'm so relieved now.  Now I just need to get it since I am pg.

    I'm glad you were able to find it!
    I'm going to make some calls this weekend and see what I can find. Our doctor didn't think they'd be getting any. :(

    Ugh, sorry about the random blank posts.

    TriciaJoy - Check with your county's health department. That is how DH and I were able to get the vaccine. None of our doctors office had it but the health department did and contracted with a couple of agencies to provide them free of charge.

    Our boys are getting theirs at the pedi on Tuesday.  The pedi is only giving them out to children 6 months-9 years and pregnant women.

    Our pedi got the mist, but not the shots yet.  I am hoping they will get them in next week and Noah can get his soon.
