Seeing the changes in my DH. He sends more text messages and emails telling me that he loves me than ever before! He is so happy to be a Daddy and is so interested in what's going on in my body. I love him sooo much!
Dh gets on his knees and kisses my belly and tells the baby how much we love it and all the things we will do after it's born. And before work he also tells the baby to not give its mama a hard time today because we have been waiting for it for so long. Also he has been wanting to get promoted for a year and to scared to talk to corporate about it...well yesterday he came home with all the info and said that he finally had the confidence and was going to ask to be promoted. He seems to have more confidence and our life just seems right now!
My DH taking care of me....He is an amazing husband and will be an amazing Father. He immediately took litter box duty, wont let me clean because of the chemicals and has been cooking for me. I tell him it's kinda early and I can still cook too. haha I actually put my foot down when he tried to stop me from vacuuming....something about dust in my lungs. I love him and his intentions but is this really going to last another 35 weeks? haha I don't want to burn him out early. I'm going to need this vigor in the home stretch.
DH. We've always been independent and relaxed about our whereabouts etc. We don't call each other during the day etc. Now, He's all about calling me to find out where I am if I'm late getting home. He's sweet and considerate and has cooked lunch for me and offered to get me icecream, which is HUGE because he NEVER cooks anything or runs errands and is fairly a self centered person. So his attentiveness is far more than I was expecting. He is soooo excited though.
He's dare I say it, become extremely loving and affectionate versus annoyingly playful as before.

We're still nervous and a little freaked out about having a baby! So I'll say the best thing so far is the daily dairy requirements. I've been avoiding dairy for quite a while for weight loss, and am loving eating cheese, milk, ice cream and yogurt again on a regular basis.
DH telling the baby a joke every day so she/he will come out with a good sense of humor. Also, the way DH is so attentive and concerned about me and Bean. It's so sweet.
DH being wrapped around my finger Getting to use the excuse "I'm carrying your first born" to get him to help around the house cause he never does and seeing my MIL and FIL. It's their first grandchild (my parents #6) so they are so incredibly excited!

And DH saying he wanted to go crib shopping and that he's super excited. I'm still early so it's still really unreal.

Having something so wonderful to look forward to; it's been a rough year and we'd been trying for a baby for a really long time.
