so i've been CDing DD for about a month and don't have too many complaints. my only issue is that she's a heavy wetter so I constantly double stuff and she is just beyond bulky!
its to the point where i notice that she walks so much better when she's in a sposie. ![]()
i mostly use FBs with one micro and 1 hemp insert. the BGs seem to be a "little" better but not much. i bought them used, so the inserts may not be the best quality...i'm not sure as i have nothing to compare them too. (the tag on the inserts says, "rainforest baby."
any ideas?
Re: trimmer options for CDing?
I can't imagine double stuffing all the time! I just change DD more often. But to answer your question, I love the BG organic OS AIOs. They are by far our most trim diapering option (although PFs are usually good too).
I'd also say maybe ditch the MF altogether. The hemp is more absorbant anyway.
double stuffing, i change her every 2-3 hours so that she doesn't leak. if i "don't" double stuff, she leaks constantly.
again...maybe its the kind of inserts i'm using. maybe i should strip them?
What size/size setting is she on? Does she maybe need to move up in size?
And are the inserts soaked when she leaks? I would think a normal MF insert (BG brand, FB brand, etc...) should hold her for a couple hours. It could be worth a try to strip them.
