Only 8 + weeks and I can't button my pants anymore. I am pretty bloated and anything tight against my abdomen hurts. I didn't think this would happen this early! Anyone else? Is anyone using the bella band? I heard they were uncomfortable
Be Bands are amazing- I use it all the time with my jeans. They're only uncomfortable when you wear them just over top of your pants. If you tuck them in to your pants and then fold them over the top, they're much more comfortable and do the job of keeping your pants up!
I was really bloated at 8 weeks. I bought a Be Band and it seems to help. I'm almost week 10 and noticed the bloat has gone down a bit and don't really need it anymore. For a while I thought I had to have been further along or having twins because I felt like I was already showing! The bloating will change every week, it does for me at least.
Started 2 weeks ago for me at 10 wks. I couldn't fit into ANY of my usual pants/skirts. I switched to wearing the only 4 that did (talk about laundry
I did go and get the bella band this past weekend and only used it once. Not uncomfortable at all. Actually felt good on the tummy.
My only problem with it was that I used it on low-rise pants and it kind of rode up a bit a couple of times. Other than that it was great. And I'm sure that won't be a problem with higher waists.
Definitely get one - it'll extend your pants for a while. I got mine from A pea in the Pod.
Yeah... I'm pretty small, (size 0) and I've gained 3lbs. Apparently my jeans can't handle an additional 3 lbs. I went out and bought the tummy sleeve from Motherhood last night and I am in love!! I find it very comfortable.
My jeans are uncomfortable too My tummy is super bloated. Hopefully I can keep wearing them for a while yet. I know several of my friends used the hair tie trick.
I can't wait to get mine. I ordered it online and should be here in a day or two. A friend of mine told me that it was he lifesaver through her entire pregnancy.
same here size 0 (or I should say was). gained 4 pounds and I cant fit in anything. I am 9 weeks and have a huge pouch which I can't tell is from the pregnancy or the types of food I am able to keep down (carbs)....at this point I am going to have to tell people soon...
I wore my too small work pants today (only black pair I had) amazingly I got them buttoned and zipped this morning. By 11am they were completely unbuttoned. I have my tank top over them so they stay in placed (luckily that worked). I may have to make a trip to target this weekend. Tomorrow is casual friday so luckily I can wear my jeans which still fit.
umm yeah I am in the same boat at 7.5 weeks. I planned to wait until 16 weeks to tell work but I don't think that is going to happen b/c none of my pants fit already & if I wear remotely tight shirts you can see a super slight bump. I got a bella band today & it felt lots better than safety pins. I got 1 size up though b/c it recommended one for me, but that seemed REALLY tight & I feel repulsed by anything even slightly tight on my belly right now.
Re: can't button my pants anymore
You're telling me!! I can barely do the zip up on my largest jeans, nevermind the button and I'm only 4 weeks along :-(
I've heard that the bellyband doesn't stay put very well, but I think I will still try one seeing as they aren't very expensive.
Mah Blog
I just got mine, but haven't worn it yet. I'm getting to the point where it's going to be necessary...
