I'm so excited...!

I put DS down in his crib and turned his mobile on to keep him busy while I did my routine 5 minute dash of grabbing something to eat/changing out of pajamas/and cleaning myself before he would start crying again. (He constantly wants to be held.)

In the middle of rushing to get things done I realized there was no crying happening. To my surprise DS was sleeping his crib! This has never happened before... at least not without having him fall asleep in my arms first.

Is this the dawn of a new beginning?! Is my little baby finally becoming a little more independant? YAY!
