Babies: 9 - 12 Months

Can we discuss my freakish son?

I`ve been mentally preparing for sleep training for a month.  So we started last night and he went RIGHT to sleep.  Didn't make a peep.  He still woke up twice over the night.

Tonight, SAME THING.  No crying at all.

What gives?  He's usually a mess if we don't rock him.

I`m certainly NOT complaining, but I swear he's playing serious mind games with me....

  • Maybe just keep yourself psyched up for it, maybe it'll stick.

DS has been messing with me as well. Three nights ago, he slept 8 hours and woke up twice. Two nights ago, screaming from 12:30 to 4pm. Last night, slept 8 hours waking up twice.

    Ugh. lol

  • How did you get him to go to sleep without rocking?? That's next on my agenda for DD once she completely stops her night nursing.

  • DS did the same thing.  I was talking to my MIL on the phone and I told her as much as I didn't want to I was going to let DS CIO at night.  We haven't had a problem since.  LOL!  They know!!!!
