anyone have the animal Crane humidifier?

We recently got one b/c I didn't want to deal with the filters we had in the Vicks one.  After a few uses, we woke up today to find it leaked water out of the bottom!  It says not to put on the floor, towel, wood...so what else is there?!?!  Anyone else have this problem with leaking?

    This happened to us once as well and I couldn't find a cause... it hasn't happened again though.

    We have the dragon and we haven't had any issues with leaking.  We put it on D's bedside table, so it's elevated and not on the floor.

    we have a frog. so far ours has never leaked.

    We have the frog, and never had that problem. I have it on the top of a short bookshelf next to his crib.

    My sister had one and said it was a total piece of junk. I got a small Vick's one for DD's room last year and I liked it alot. No wet floor and it really was an invisible mist.

    We have the cow and haven't had any problems. It's on her changing table.

    We have a penguin. The first night I had it on too heavy of a mist and I walked in to find a soaked hardwood floor and area around it.

    Our old one was a Vicks and it really leaked and got all moldy because it was impossible to clean properly. When we used that one, I took a box and put it in a plastic bag, then put the humidifier in that so that when it leaked it didn't hurt anything. I also had to put a plastic bag on the wall behind it since the mist did something to the paint on the wall.

    We have the cow and haven't had any issues.  We put it on a stool off the floor.  I noticed when we had it on too high of a mist it was leaving white residue over the furniture.  Now that we reduced the mist it hasn't done that.
