Best NN for Evangeline?

I was thinking of Evan or Lina. WDYT?

I don't pronounce Evangeline like Evan so that doesn't make sense to me. I don't like Lina either though...

NN are so hard! Which is why I named my sons names that don't have NNs! I love the long version but know that if I don't give her a NN that I like then other people will make up their own NN for her and I may get stuck with one I really don't like.

I am not a fan of Angie either..... I think I'll wait until I see her to decide but I do like Lina and Evie (starting to grow on me).

I love the name Evangeline! We were considering it for a while. I love Eve, Eva and Evie. I only know one little girl named Evie (short for Evelynn) so I don't think the other two are common (though Eva is close to Ava). I really don't like Evan for a girl. Not wild about Lina. Other options would be Angie or Angel. To me though, if you don't like Eve, Eva or Evie it seems a little strange to use Evangeline unless you want to call her by her full name, since those are the most logical nicknames.

Evie is my fave. nn but I am biased because its Everleighs nn well that and Evie-Rose.

I dont like Evan at all as a nn for Evangeline.
