Peeling, thin toenails on DC?

Anyone else have a DC with thin, peeling toenails...I don't know how else to describe it...my SIL says her son has/had it too (she didn't go on to say if it resolves itself or if there was any sort of vitamin def. or anything...)...I will ask A's ped at her 9 month, but just wondering about this...
