37- 40+ weekers. What's your latest news?

My last ultrasound was yesterday and my doc said I was 75% effaced, -2 station and 2 cm dilated! She said she weighs right at 7 lbs. I know women can live at 2 cm for weeks so I'm trying not to get my hopes up but its so exciting that my body is preparing itself. Who knows how long it will be till anything happens. I am still working and the doc said that is what has really helped....being on my feet all day and doing a lot of walking.

How is everything going with yall???

ok i have nothing to report. i have my 37 wk appt today & i am wondering if my midwife starts internals this week. I guess i will find out. I have been having what I think are contractions off & on (mostly when I walk), but nothing even remotely regular.

I wont know my progress till my appt on Friday, but last week the doctor said Abel was very very low and in the right position. I have been having tons of pressure the past few days and contractions about every 7-8 minutes. So hopefully there will be at least some progress =]

My last OB appointment was Thursday and I was "thinned out" (she didn't give me an exact effacement) and 1 1/2 cm dilated (so progressed about 1/2 an inch...not much...but progression doesn't really matter anyway at this point). No idea on the station. She didn't say.

I still feel really good...so I don't think I'm going into labor any time soon. My mother always says you have to be so uncomfortable that you welcome labor with open arms (which was true for me with #1). But I'm still running (extremely slowly ... but still running) and/or riding a stationary bike, and I'm staying on my feet a lot ... so hopefully I won't be too late. (Though honestly, I actually wouldn't mind being late this time around ... whatever the little guy wants.)

At my 39 week appointment Friday I was "2-3 cm, 25% effaced, and soft". And they're still predicting I go late.

As of yesterday i was at a fingertip and that's it. Nothing else going on...damn! I know it means nothing, but I still hoping for a little more activity. I am certain I will be here past my EDD.

I had nothing going on as of last week, I go in again tomorrow. I'm hoping for some progress just to help me mentally. I have a lot of lower pelvic pain and pressure and work is getting soooo uncomfortable!

As of Friday, he weighs approx 6 pounds and some change. I really hope he decides to come soon, because I don't want my husband to miss his birth.

As far as my body... well, my pelvis feels like it's been split in two. My left hip, leg, and pelvic area lead a life totally independant of my right side these days.

Zero dialation. Zero effacement. He hasn't dropped. No MP. No contractions. And worse than that, no nesting instict of any sort. Nothing. I have an appointment tomorrow and I'm hoping for some progress so I know an end is near

Two more days until I see my OB again. Last Monday I was 4cm, so I have no idea where I am now. However, I did have the switch from BH ctx to the 'real' ones low in my abdomen and wrapping around to my hips and back (this was just starting last night).

We thought things were getting on the go last night because I was really nauseous, dizzy, lightheaded and couldn't concentrate for about half an hour. I took 2 gravol and ate supper and then felt fine. Then when we went to bed baby wasn't moving after a whole lot of poking and prodding, which is highly unlike her. I was lying there crying thinking OMG I should have gone to the hospital earlier when I wasn't feeling well and then almost immediately she starts swishing and pushing around again. Whew! What relief. So I lay there for another hour waiting to sleep with the biggest smile while she danced in my belly Smile

Aside from that I'm drinking my raspberry leaf tea, popping a few evening primrose oil capsules and hoping for something soon Smile

I have an appointment today so hopefully will find out something. The last two internals I got he's head down and right there but no progress other than that. I think i've been having contractions randomly, but I guess that's a start. Let's hope for some progress.

I am 3 cm and being induced tomorrow at 700am. Baby is about 9 lbs.

Today is my edd. Last week I was 1cm, 50% effaced and very soft. My next appt is Thursday... hopefully I won't make it, or there will be more progress.

2 weeks ago they said I was 1cm, and yesterday they said I was nothing.

So who knows.

I feel awful though, I have sciatica and can hardly walk.

Last week at my 37 week appointment, she weighed about 6.3lbs. I didn`t have an internal so I do not know if I am starting to dilate or not, but I am not to that uncomfortable time either. For the most part I have no problems walking, etc, but I do have some leg/hip pain on my right side when I sit in some of the chairs around here for too long.

I am at 39 weeks, I am having a c-section on thursday though. But he is about 9 lbs and has been 2 weeks ahead the whole 3rd tri, he hasn't dropped and I have walked everyday, I have cooked, cleaned ran errands trying to make him come early but...

50% effaced, no dilation, -2 station-as of Friday. He thinks he'll see me this Friday-we're taking it week by week. Today is exactly how far along I was when I had DS, with 17 days to go, and I wasn't dilated then either, so we'll see.

My ultrasound last week to check my low placenta was great...my placenta has moved all the way north and is super far from my cervix (finally). Baby measured to be about 7lb 8oz.

I had one internal at 37 weeks and was told that I was at least 50% effaced. She said I wasn't really dilated. I will not be having any more internals. (Maybe one if I go past my due date.)

I lost my mucus plug on Sunday and I'm still losing pieces occasionally.

No contractions. I'm squatting, eating hot food, eating pineapple, walking, bouncing on my ball, doing hip rotations, and pressing pressure points.

Nothing going on here!

No internals yet, but at my last appt my doc said he was head down and very low. I'm also feeling a ton of pressure and discomfort. I hope I'm in for 40 weeks because I want him to stay put as long as he needs to. I have another appt today, but don't expect much news because no internals for another week (which I am pretty sure I am declining anyway).

Last time I got an internal there was nothing. That was two weeks ago. I opted to not get an internal last week and then found out that I am not getting checked this week either because my doctor is on vacation this week. Guess I'll have to wait patiently for one more week to see if there is any progress.

BTW: My darn ticker is wrong. I am 37 weeks today.

Well, I'm an odd cookie. I'm thinned (no actual number) and my cervix is dilating oddly. The front part is almost 3cm while the back is barely 2cm. I've been contracting for over a month, he's low, so the plan is to be induced on Thursday. They are hoping they just have to work on my cervix because my contractions are awesome according to the NST.

No progress... cervix is starting to soften, and she has not dropped yet. No MP, no contractions, some cramps and back pain. Lots of pelvic pain and pressure, it feels like someone kicked me in the vadge. I'm being induced next week so at least there is an end in sight.
