3rd Trimester

stroller

I'm planning to use a snap n go until the baby outgrows the car seat. My SIL gave me 2 strollers which are in decent shape but I'm wondering if I should just get something new. Anyone get a stroller they love that is not a travel system?

Re: stroller

  • We got the BOB Revolution jogger and the SnugRide attachment base. We haven't used it yet but if you do any travelling outside/in parks, you may want a stroller that can be steered easily through that. And maybe it'll also be my motivation to exercise =)

  • I used the Snap n Go and then a Peg Perego P3 with my first. Planning to do the same thing this time around. I would definitely use the Snap n Go and get a feel for what you like in a stroller. Then you can decide if you want to buy a new one.

  • I bought the Maclaren Triumph umbrella stroller for DS and am planning on using it in the recline position with DD at 3 months. Until then, I am planning on wearing her. I love my Maclaren and it would just be so hard to go back to a bulky stroller again.
  • I have a Baby Jogger City Mini and the infant seat adapter. LO hasn't arrived yet, but I'm pretty sure I love it!

I thought about a travel system and then I thought about a Snap and Go. The City Mini covers all basis so I won't need either and wont need an umbrella stroller in the future.

  • I would do as you are doing and stick with the Snap & Go until you really have a feel for your lifestyle and what you really want and need in a stroller.

I can tell you that I have always loved my Maclaren Quest. We've used it as our only stroller until my son turned two. He was three months when I bought it. It's good for everything but neighborhood walks.

I have a Phil & Ted Vibe that will be for both kids and traveling that I also love. I bought it when my son was turning two. We were in FL and I wanted to be able to take long walks/jogs at the beach and this suited my needs. I would have gone with a BOB but I also wanted to be able to use it for #2 and for ease of travel. I hate traditional double strollers.

These strollers fit our lifestyle, where we live, and activities. Wait until you really know and then invest.

  • Thanks that makes me feel better that I don't have to figure this out now. The two strollers she gave me are the Maclaren Techno and a Peg Perego which sounds like you all like.

  • We got the BOB Revolution Stroller and the Graco snap and go stroller. I've seen so many people with it and hear great things. I got the BOB because DH and I both run and live where the parks have hills and uneven pavement.
