I think I read somewhere that pregnant women shouldn't use cocoa butter because the skin absorbs caffiene out of it or something. Have any of you asked your doctor about it? I got a cocoa butter soap bar in a gift set with other stuff and I don't want to use the soap if we're not supposed to use it.
Also, everywhere on my torso has been really tichy and I used an oil spray out of the same gift set and it works wonders (as long as you don't mind the smell of canola oil and being a little greasy).
This is the oil stuff...

Re: Cocoa butter and caffiene
I use the Mama Bee Oil in the shower and I LOVE it. I used it with dd and no stretch marks. I am hoping I did not just jinx myself and it works just as great this time. I have the belly balm also, but have only used that a couple of times because of using the oil.
i heard that on here about cb + caffeine. dunno the validity of it. i use a regular lotion with a cocoa butter base.
Honestly, I can't imagine it's enough to do any harm unless you are going to eat the stuff.
I use cocoa butter daily AND my OB actually suggested I drink limited caffiene daily to help with my migraines. Since I used excederine before being pregnant, he said that tylenol with the caffiene would work to help them and long as I limit it to one 12 oz can a day.
You'd be more likely to do damage with too much chocolate than with cocoa butter lotion. And that would take a lot of chocolate....
