DH accidentally did my injection too far to the middle. It hurt the whole time the needle was in, worse when the medication went in, and once he took the needle out I couldn't even tell, it still hurt so badly!!!
Now I am sitting on it. Great!!
(he did feel really badly about it, but darn it, it hurts!!!)

Re: My A$$ cheek hurts!!
My left cheek hurts too. We usually do it in the right and we switched last night and it hurt so damn bad that DH was freaking out and I was bawling.
((hugs)) I feel your pain, girlfriend.

No, I do my first two injects (subq) and get our lunches ready while he preps my IM inject. Right after he does it I pretty much walk out the door. I wish I had thought of that though!!

I was crying this morning too, and saying, I am sorry, it just hurts!
Then I cried some more because I got the instructions off the fridge and showed him that it was too far to the middle and he got all angry at himself and clammed up, so I thought he was mad at me.
Bad start to a Monday morning!

ugh! I know exactly how you feel. After so many weeks of PIO we were running out of places that weren't totally bruised or knotted up. It was not only physically painful for me, but emotionally painful for me and my DH. It's been worth it so far though. Keep at it girls, once you stop, things heal physically quickly but you always remember. In fact, when my DH touches by tushy now I always say, "It doesn't hurt!." Good luck getting through them!
