has he/she always been in a crib? We right now have ds sleeping in our room in a cradle and I was just wondering how I go about making the transition from cradle to crib. TIA
Mine is sleeping in a bassinett in our room too. I wish I had the aswer for you, We will wait until 3 months. Callie was born on 8/20--when is your LO's bday?
We transitioned E into his crib in his own room at about 3 weeks, and it was the best thing ever! We have all slept better since. I agree with PP that putting him in his crib fairly early helped us avoid a transition phase.
DD only liked to sleep in her car seat when she came home. After a month she was finally in her crib full time. We started transitioning to the crib during naps or the first part of the night.
Try LO having naps in the crib to start getting used to it. DD is still in our room at night but naps all over the place, including the crib.
This. DD was in our room in a PnP until she hit 2 mos. Then we started having her nap in her crib. After doing that for a week, we moved her in there at night and she never knew the difference. In fact, she slept better and longer. GL!

Re: if your LO is in a crib
this
DD has been in her crib FT since about 1 week. We like to start them early so they are used to it and don't really *need* a transition phase.
GL.
