Success after IF

Baby finally choked on solids (and it is OK and expected)

If I had not have heard this on THIS board (thanks LucyP think you mentioned this before..), DH and I would have freaked out.

This is why this board is great and a community and great for expectant moms and new moms and experienced moms.

DHs coworker kept asking him 'has he choked yet'.  almost 9m and it happened while eating bits of pasta... So we knew it was going to happen eventually because of other people telling us.

He kinda choked and then puked up his food.

  • Its scary right? Sophie choked on a biter biscuit and threw up.  I waited a few more weeks and took things really slow.  She just had to work on that reflex.  BTW Stage 3 foods are known for that.  Just stick to table food.

  • Ha ha, glad I could be of service!  However - gagging and barfing does mean SLOW down, I'm not quite there yet!  So - no rush - take it slow - Jack is getting MUCH better with his over-active gag reflex but we're not pushing it - he is just slowly getting better and better with textured foods, at his own pace.
    Wheee!
