I'm sorry -- I'm in the same boat and it sucks. I even made cupcakes last weekend (my favorite!) and couldn't eat them -- it was the saddest thing ever. My only advice is to eat ANYTHING that sounds good -- even if it is gross and unhealthy. For me it was Taco Bell last week (blecchh). I also have found that if I can get something in my stomach, I feel a bit better and can then eat more. Something sour works well for me (like a pickle). Good luck!
I agree with JillRock - it seems backward but if you can eat a little bit you'll be able to eat even more. Protein always makes me feel better - peanut butter maybe?

I agree with JillRock - eat anything that sounds remotely appetizing, or at least that doesn't make you feel more nauseous. I know it is a struggle. Ginger ale or ginger candies usually helped settle my stomach enough that I could keep something down.
Hang in there. It really does get better in the 2nd trimester!
The weird thing is I'm not particularly nauseous...until I eat something. Then it's a disaster. Oh, and thanks for the sour suggestions. They'll probably work, now that I think about it. I did go through an entire jar of vlassic spears in two days earlier this week!
I'm taking DH out to dinner at a steak house to thank him for his hard work today, so I'll see if they can give me a few pickle chips to munch on, or maybe just some lemons while I wait for the food.
I went through a watermelon phase when I was at the point where you are. For some reason, it was filling without being unappetizing, and apparently has all these nutrients in it I would have never guessed about. The water didn't hurt either. I love food, and I definitely felt like you at that point.

I found comfort foods to be the only thing I was interested in, grilled cheese, mac and cheese, soup, just the basics. Meat has been a real problem for me, I think this baby's a vegetarian!

Mac and cheese! That and matzo ball soup were the only things I wanted to eat in my 1st tri. I normally love veggies and I couldn't even look at them. I agree - eat whatever you can get down. Probably fat and carbs are what sound good and that is what your baby needs.
I wish I had ideas for you, but just eat whatever you think sounds good no matter what it is. For about a week, my dinner consisted of Arby's curly fries and vanilla milkshakes!
Well I figured out that sour and salty is the only thing I can get down. I just had guacomole with so much lemon and salt my dh couldn't even eat any of it!!! lol And I did figure out once I got something down it was easier to eat after! Good Luck!

After 4 years of TTC....
We didn't think it would be this easy to have another...
I ate soooo much pizza and pasta in the first tri - it was the only thing that always tasted and sounded good all the time. I do not miss those days - there were nights we would go out to eat and I would not even order, I would just pick up pizza on the way home.
I hope it passes for you soon!!

I ate like crap my first tri. I'm pretty sure I had subway every day for lunch and pepperoni hot pockets every night for dinner. (I hadn't had a hot pocket since college and the thought of them now make me a sick!) When I felt sick, I would suck on lemon drops or sour jolly ranchers. Plain McDonalds hamburgers were also good. My dr actually suggested that one.
Eat whatever you can keep down and worry about cleaning up your diet when the morning sickness goes away. After mine was gone, I craved fruit and broccoli (random, I know).

Re: I need food ideas. Nothing is appetizing
I wanted only sour stuff and carbs in my 1st tri. I thought salt and vinegar chips were the best thing EVER then.
Would maybe eating something sour be appetizing?
