I think that DD's getting it - what do you use? I already have the baby Aveeno lotion with the blue cap that's supposed to be good for it (I was using for her dry cheeks). Any other suggestions?
Aquaphor is the best thing. My DD #1 had it as a LO and aquaphor is the best thing. Put it on every 2 hours its awesone. I also used to use hydrocortozone ointment not cream 2%. Use the hydrocortozone once a day if needed. apply the aquaphor all day.
I'm a Pediatric Dermatology PA at a children's hospital. Eczema is super common...I usually see 40 patients a day, and about 20 are for eczema! The treatment is to use a steroid cream, just try OTC Hydrocortisone 1% first...2x day to the rashes for 2-3 weeks. If that's not doing anything, then you need something stronger in Rx form. You need to moisturize at least 3x day...eczema flares when the skin is dry! The best cream is CeraVe cream because it has Ceramides in it, which is a synthetic skin barrier (kids with eczema have a deficient skin barrier). There is also CeraVe cleanser/soap. Never use any Johnson&Johnson's products...terrible for eczema!! Make sure you wash LO's clothes in Dreft, Ivory Snow, All Free, Tide Free or Cheer Free...and everyone in the house! No bleach or fabric softeners (including dryer sheets). It flares in winter when the skin is drier, and when kids are sick and teething! Let me know ifyou have any other questions!

I know I'm not the OP, but I just had to thank you for the very helpful info! Both my LOs have eczema so I'm constantly on the lookout for useful information on this matter. Hope you don't mind if I save you as a friend in case I have a super important question to ask and don't have the pedi to turn to.
Yah, thanks for the info! I do have a question- DD doesn't have eczema, but she has dry skin in some spots. What product do you recommend for everyday use? Should I try the CeraVe? Or is that primarily for eczema?
Applewonder - feel free to page me or PM me anytime. I do work Monday-Thursdays now, so when I get home, I do check the bump, but I rarely scroll through the entire day's posts, so it's probably best to PM me!
FD - CeraVe (or Cetaphil) is great for everyone! I use it on myself and on DD and she has no eczema!

Re: s/o Excema
No help here, but DD has had very very dry skin this past week. So I am looking for some suggestions as well.
I have been using Johnson's and then tried the Mustela - neither make a huge difference.
