  if you said you had fresh banana nut bread in the oven i'd be showing up at your door in my pj's begging for some.

  Idk, I don't really taste the beer in it. Although, I've made some that said you could use any carbonated beverage. I only had Sprite, so I used that You could definitely taste it. It tasted good, but still...

  Mmmm...I just had some, with apricot & white cherry preserves

  The bread just tastes a bit more yeast-y, & has more depth to the flavor. Really tasty IMO.

  I just bought this on my most recent trip there.  We need to get some beer so I can make it.

  I have a recipe in my blog that has all kinds of alternatives to plain Beer Bread.  Also, it saves a ton of money because you don't have to buy mixes and it's stuff you usually have on hand anyway.
