Anyone start cereal before doc recommendation??

My LO will be 5 months this weekend, and our doc wanted us to start cereal three weeks before his 6 month check up. So that would mean we start two weeks from now. However, he is quite a big boy for his age and I think he is ready. I also think it may help him STTN as he is still waking up hungry. Does anyone think these two weeks would make a difference?

    Personally I enjoy paying money to get advice from someone that went to school for a number of years and then ignore it.  Indifferent

    My doctor told us to start at 4 months.  Every doctor has different recommendations.  I think he's close enough to give it a try!
