From what I can recall regarding pumping straight into bags is those bags are for freezing/storage purposes. I have never seen bags that are then dropped into bottles for feeding. I may be wrong but this was my experience when bfing DS.
All pumps dump in a bad or a container with a lid. But you dont drop the bad into the bottle. You pour the bag into the bottle. I am just saying tht YOU NEVER know what will happen. Hopefully everything goes perfect but if it doesnt you will not want to buy bottles at the last hour.
I used the Medela Pump in Style, but used Avent bottles. Mainly, because that is what people bought me... we did also have the 4 Medela bottles that came with the pump. Even when I pumped into those though, I would just dump the milk into an Avent bottle. Another words, I would pick a pump and not really worry about the bottle "going with it" because you can use whatever bottle you want. Does your insurance cover your pump? If yes, the choice will probably be made for you. They will just give you what they have at the hospital. That is how I got mine at St. Joes. HTH!
