TMI / Dumb Condom Question

So doc took me off the pill (long story) and is not reccomending hormonal birth control right now. Today's my birthday, and i want to get lucky with DH (I sound like a dumb ass I know). Anyway, I've not had sex using a condom since college, and dont' know jack about buying them, but I'm stopping at the drug store today to pick some up. Any reccomendations? Is there anything new on the condom front (or are the standard latex ones still the norm?)Embarrassed

    I can't be on any hormonal BC either, so we use condoms.  Honestly, they all feel the same to me.  We just buy whatever, but I'm curious as to what these new Ectasy ones feel like.

    they have these new ones called.. umm extacy, they are loose on the head and part of the shaft and tight at the base. but DH freaked about it a lil bit. I too recently went off the pill and DH and I were naughty monkeys in our past and never really used condoms, so it's all new to us. We bought some ultra thin and they seemed ok.

    Go with an open mind and to a place that had a large selection, maybe pick up two diff kinds to try.

    LOL - I will prob have to go with DS, so that should be funny. Especially is he's fussing the whole time like he has been for the past week. The clerks will prob think - guess she doesn't want another one of those :-)
