What thing did everyone say you had to have and you hate/never use?

Mine is the boppy. I've used it maybe twice for feeding, but holding him is much more comfortable. When I put him in it to sleep he slumps into this awkward looking pile. Maybe when he gets bigger I'll like it more...

Mine is the wipe warmer. A friend of mine said that I HAD to have it so I went ahead and registered for it. It is still in the box and I am contemplating on returning it.

I can't think of anything that I don't use....on the contrary everyone told me to skip the newborn size clothing or get very little of it and DD can still wear it! She is just starting to grow out of it because of the length but I really should have bought more of it.

We use the boppy for tummy time but I hated it at first with feeding. It never worked.

The special swaddle blankets. I didn't swaddle my daughter when she came home. I know that many people do but she did fine not swaddling so I never used those blankets.

Bumbo seat. Maybe when he gets bigger we'll use it but he hates it now. And I honestly don't see the point of them, as I never used one before with any of my friends' kids. They all learned to sit just fine.

Pack-N-Play. We lived a month without it and got one at our church shower and never used it until DS went to daycare and then she needed one for him to sleep in. So I guess it was good to have for him there, but I wouldn't use it at home.

Bouncy Seats. I had two given to me and I never use them.

For me I pretty much (after 3 kids) knew what I really need and didn't need.

I used to have every baby thing you can think of with my 3 boys and a lot of it was wasted $.

Boppy, used it maybe once or twice. The swaddle blankets, she maybe only now fits in them but doesn't really need to be swaddled anymore. And I have a ton of them!

She didn't have anything to wear when we got home from the hospital except for a pack of NB onsies I had bought her. Thank goodness it was so hot. She's outgrown them now, but only a couple of weeks ago.

oh and all her 0-3 stuff that people bought her were summer rompers, so away they go for if we ever have another summer girl.

Ironically, the only thing we own that we have never used is his crib! I'm sure he'll use it at some point but for now, we're co-sleeping.

ditto the boppy. i found it to be uncomfortable, and she hates it for tummy time.

and ditto JCM on baby pants. she looks so uncomfortable in them. i do love the diaper butt, though.

I use my boppy most of the time. When I first got it though I was very uncomfortable from the birth (roids.) My SIL told me to sit on it and it was so great. I didn't start using it with the baby til more recently.?

I think ?the swaddle blankets would be what I don't use. Everyone raved about them and DS doesn't really like it. They had him swaddled in the hospital a lot but he likes to move his arms and most of the time when hes sleeping his arms are bent and up by his ears and he sleeps much better when hes not swaddled.?

This. We had to buy a bunch of newborn clothes (that she still is wearing) and we haven't used any of the summery 0-3 outfits. We're going to have to buy all new 0-3 clothes too.

Haven't used any of the gowns yet or the swaddleme or sleepsacks. We do swaddle DD, but with a plain old blanket like a hospital blanket.

On the other hand, I use my boppy all the time. I love it!

Pack n play! DS1 hated it. So did we. On the contrary, everyone had told us NOT to get a bassinet but this time we got one and we love it.

Also, I HATED my infant carrier carseat. Thought the combo was a waste. He hated being in it and we have alerady purchased a 5-40lb convertible carseat. He doesn't use the stroller either. My homemade Moby is my best friend!

I LOVE (need) the boppy. Being large chested (38 G) I had a rough time holding him and my breast so the boppy is my friend. Plus, he usually nurses for an hour so it leaves my hands to do other things like study for my classes.
