so last night i am getting ready for bed and i have blue veins all over my boobs and down my sides i like like a creature from xmen! Does anyone have these, are they going to go away? Should i be concerned?
yes they are all over my boobs! lol ?And there's a blue vein (not sure if other people notice it on me yet) and it goes around one of my eyes!! ?It's awful. lol ?I sure hope they go away! ?But I wouldn't be concerned, I read in one of my preggy books that's it is totally normal for your veins to become more noticeable.
They aren't spider or vericose veins. They are normal veins that are more noticable now because of increased blood flow and the fact that your belly and bood skin is being stretched and is therefore more translucent. It won't look that way forever!
yep, I've got them down the sides of my stomach on both sides - mine showed up around week 7! from what I have read and what the doc has told me this is completely normal and healthy - it is because our veins are pumping more blood from the heart to the baby so they appear darker. It's supposed to go away after pregnancy.

I second this. And yes, speaking from experience, they will go away after birth.
i have them too! and to make it even better last night as im getting ready for bed and preparing for my H to give me my shot (bloodthinners everyday...) He looks at me and goes what is that?! on your boob and points to my blue vein...they are not always so noticable as they are after i get out of the shower or if im really hot/cold...but last night he saw them. He is usually really good with all of my pregnancy symptoms and makes me feel better but i guess this one just caught him off guard.
Re: what are these blue veins!
Yeah, they certainly aren't part of the "glow".
