Do you change the nipple size according to age?

NB-4 months I have used the same nipples & today when I got a new bottle I decided to get the 3-6 month size (which is stage 2). Have you changed sizes?

i have only seen stages, like 1 or 2 not ages really - no DS is a fast drinker and if i got him the faster flow nipple, i think he would choke.

I am at the size 3 (3 month) nipple with the Avent bottles. We just made the switch cause DS wasn't getting enough and now he drinks like a champ, lol.

we just tried a fast flow nipple because DS wasn't eating from a bottle as well as he used to with DH. I don't even have any idea what age they say to use the fast flow nipple for. But, he did great and we'll probably stick with it!

We moved to med flow at 4 months. we've tried fast but she chokes on it

I changed at 3 months because he was eating really slow and I was going back to work and didn't want the nanny to spend half her day feeding him.

I am trying to decide what to do about this...he is starting to collapse the stage 2 Avent Nipples but drank to fast and choked when I tried a "variable speed" nipple... so I am not sure when to move to the "stage 3" one...
