I call mine a pumpkin seed, but I've seen some pretty cute nicknames on here. I asked DH what he wanted to call it and he rolled his eyes and said "a baby". What a spoilsport.

This is what we were doing but raspberry stuck and even though I am past that we have been sticking with raspberry, olive and prune just aren't as cute!

Same here. Every ticker change day my sister asks me what fruit the baby is now and gives it a name. This week it's Gary the Grape, so I've been calling it Gary all week. Haha.

My husband (who is spanish speaking) calls the baby "arroba", which is this symbol @. It's the symbol you use in spanish when you don't know if something is masculine or feminine.

Our first baby was "bean" or "bub." We still call him "bub," funny enough.

This baby is "Goomba" or "Baby G."

My husband suggested Goomba as a name, (not seriously) and now it's just kind of sticking!

My friend said she's calling our baby "Ziggy" as in "Ziggy the Zygote" for my whole pregnancy. My husband calls him "My Baby's Baby".

I know this sounds weird but I have called all my babies "throw up germ" for the first 8 to 12 weeks.

My daughter was 5 when I got pregnant with the second one. She understood that I was not feeling well but we did not tell her why. She started saying "my mommy has a throw up germ" So I guess it kind of stuck. That is what we call each new baby until we tell our families that we are expecting again. After that we try to come up with real names that we would want to name the baby and try calling my belly that name for a while to see if we like it.

Soy Bean. It acctually came about because we were discussing names with my parents one night and Michael and I both liked the name Soren for a boy. My parents had never heard of it and wrinkled their noses. the next day my dad was talking about names and he said, so how is little soy bean today....hehehe. I think its cute

I've been calling it my lil bean, but when I brought it up to DH, I was like we need a nickname. He gave me that look of like, what? come on... I told him we need something to call it before we find out the sex! So we combined parts of our two names,Rebecca and Morgan and came up with Remo for now. So it's my lil bean, Remo hehe.
