I call mine a pumpkin seed, but I've seen some pretty cute nicknames on here. I asked DH what he wanted to call it and he rolled his eyes and said "a baby". What a spoilsport.
With DS we called him McLovin', (hey it was late 2007) now in the outside world he has a million names. No name for this bug yet. I like pumpkin seed, that's cute

We call the baby by whatever fruit babycenter gives that week for our baby's size. In a few days, it will be our little "lime." Right now, it's a "kumquat."

This is what we were doing but raspberry stuck and even though I am past that we have been sticking with raspberry, olive and prune just aren't as cute!

Same here. Every ticker change day my sister asks me what fruit the baby is now and gives it a name. This week it's Gary the Grape, so I've been calling it Gary all week. Haha.

Ha! I think I would be sad to call my baby a prune. What if that stuck around?
My husband (who is spanish speaking) calls the baby "arroba", which is this symbol @. It's the symbol you use in spanish when you don't know if something is masculine or feminine.
Owl. There's a Mad About You episode where Paul says their baby is going to be one of two things - A boy or a girl. Unless of course it's an owl, and then he'd rather know beforehand anyhow
Poppyseed (since that's about how big our baby to be is) or Embryo Moses. Moses relates to our name and it's too early to call our poppyseed Baby Moses.
I know this sounds weird but I have called all my babies "throw up germ" for the first 8 to 12 weeks.
My daughter was 5 when I got pregnant with the second one. She understood that I was not feeling well but we did not tell her why. She started saying "my mommy has a throw up germ" So I guess it kind of stuck. That is what we call each new baby until we tell our families that we are expecting again. After that we try to come up with real names that we would want to name the baby and try calling my belly that name for a while to see if we like it.
Soy Bean. It acctually came about because we were discussing names with my parents one night and Michael and I both liked the name Soren for a boy. My parents had never heard of it and wrinkled their noses. the next day my dad was talking about names and he said, so how is little soy bean today....hehehe. I think its cute
I've been calling it my lil bean, but when I brought it up to DH, I was like we need a nickname. He gave me that look of like, what? come on... I told him we need something to call it before we find out the sex! So we combined parts of our two names,Rebecca and Morgan and came up with Remo for now. So it's my lil bean, Remo hehe.

Cotton.
It would make sense if you knew our names. It's actually quite funny.
Our first baby was "bean" or "bub." We still call him "bub," funny enough.
This baby is "Goomba" or "Baby G."
My husband suggested Goomba as a name, (not seriously) and now it's just kind of sticking!
Muppet
Eleanor Noelle - 18/05/12 Claire Elisabeth - 16/-5/10
Bugs. It started off as our little bug but then we found out it was twins so it multiplied.
We call it bug. When my boss refers a baby in the making she calls it a parasite, no joking.
Our last name rymes with bean so we call the baby _____bean :-)
june bug is really cute though!

I call it Little Lobster on my blog.
When we're talking about it, it changes each week.
Last week it was "The Grain" because baby was the size of a grain of rice.
This week it's Little P because it's half the size of a baby pea.
we have been calling ours whatever size it is according to the bump size chart, but our fav to call it is blueberry.
He will send me messages asking how the blueberry is doing and if I'm thinking cute so I'll make it cute. "Keep thinking cute"
hehe
