DOUBLE Diapering?

Anyone do this? MY DS sleeps 11-12 hours at night (I know, I'm blessed!) and lately he has been leaking every night/morning. I'm wondering if this is causing him to wake in the am so I'm wondering if he would sleep a little later because in the past he'll sleep until 7 am and since he's leaking he has been getting up at 5:30/6. I recently moved him to size 3 Pampers Baby Dries with no luck in helping the situation (previously he was in size 2 swaddlers.

I've heard of the double diapering technique and I tried it tonight so we shall see in the morning how it goes. I wish I had done some research b/c I actually just found a site that said to cut slits in the first diaper then add the second so that the pee doesn't just come out of one and right out of the 2nd one, but instead slowly gets absorbed into both diapers.

Just curious if anyone does this or uses good nights diapers?

DS has been sleeping 12 hours at night for months too, and until recently this hasn't been a problem. Now he's entered a growth spurt and is eating SO much - he keeps completely saturating his diaper at night. We also moved up to size 3's at night, but that isn't even enough. I might try size 4. Let me know how the double diaper works!
