How many rounds of clomid did you take before getting pregnant?

Hey ladies,

I know this is a dumb question, but how many rounds of clomid did it take for you to become pregnant? I am on my second round and really disheartened that the first didn't work...I thought our timing was great. I guess I"m just looking for some success stories to cheer me up. Thanks!

    clomid never worked for me.  sorry to disappoint, but it took 2 IVFs for me to get PG.

    I did 7 cycles of Clomid.  I know most docs. won't have you do more than 6 but mine really felt like this would be the one - he was right!  My final cycle was 150 mgs, days 5-9.  I also took Mucinex during the cycle because I was sick.  I think that might've helped my lining to thicken.

    Clomid never worked for me...I have PCOS and Clomid isn't great for that...I did 5 rounds without success.

    My first round of Femara, however, worked like a charm ;-)

    I did 3 rounds then I did 3 rounds of injectibles and took a break, went back to clomid for one cycle and that one worked.

    One. I totally did not expect for the first cycle to work but it did and I am in love with that drug! We did 50 mg Clomid+Ovidrel trigger shot+TI. Good luck! Alot of ladies on here don't have success on the first cycle and go on to get pregnant on the 2nd or 3rd!

    Clomid worked for us!  I got pg on my 5th round of it--150mg plus trigger shot plus TI equals the munchkin in my siggy!  Don't lose faith, it can definitely work!

    I never had success with Clomid and had to move on to other meds.  Are you being monitored via bloodwork and ultrasound to make sure you are responding to the Clomid?
    After 20 months TTC with PCOS, we were blessed with twins!

    I only did one round and was deemed a "poor responder" so I moved on to injectibles and we were successful after our first round of gonal-f.
