I used to have a latte every morning, but once we started trying I cut it out completely. It only took me about a week to adjust, but I guess only having one cup a day isn't that much I know I could still drink it but I just didn't want to. Now I don't even want it at all!
I was drinking one coffee a day (and planned to continue doing so) until I went totally off coffee at around 5 weeks. Now I try to drink one cup of tea each morning to wake myself up, but it has hardly any caffeine and is well within maximum recommendations. I wouldn't cut out coffee completely unless you want to or find you can't face it, like me! I have researched the issue and am confident that 1 or 2 cups of coffee a day are completely fine.
Since I work nights I can't make it without coffee. I have a small one on the nights that I work. i just can't function without it with all the fatigue right now. Plus, if I get caught sleeping I would get in big trouble.
I very rarely drank coffee before pg but now I've decided if I need it I'll just get a latte since it's mostly milk and only 1/4 c coffee. It will still give me the boost I need.
I'm a coffee junkie, and have whittled down to one half-caff in the morning. Though even that is getting less appealing these days. In my first pregnancy, the smell of coffee turned my stomach for most of my first trimester, so I'm betting I'm heading in that direction.
I switched to decaf because I'm so nervous about m/c. I might go back to one cup a day after 1st tri because my favorite coffee flavors don't come in decaf. However, lately, I've been too nauseated for any type of coffee and just drink ginger tea.
When I have had it I have had decaf (which is maybe once or twice a week.) I tried to drink a little bit of regular coffee the other day because I had a really bad headache but I couldn't stomach it for some reason.
i've been caffeine free since i found out i was pregnant at 7 weeks (as far as pop, coffee, tea, etc. are concerned...though i can't go without my chocolate every now and then). since i didn't know for awhile and i wasn't planning on being pregnant so soon i just want to make sure i don't do any unnecessary damage that i can easily prevent by just avoiding it all together.

I've switched to decaf, I love the taste still. A friend of mine has about 7 weeks to go and she told me she treats herself to one really good coffee a week now
I'm a huge coffee fan. Used to 3-4 cups a day in the morning and usually 1 in the afternoon. Being AMA, I am very worried about m/c so I've whittled my intake to one 10oz. cup a day. I feel incredibly guilty every morning but I so love the taste. I'll talk with my OB and ultimately defer to their advice.
Did you go through any withdrawls when you cut back to one cup of Joe a week?
FYI: in a way decaf is worse because of the chemicals used to "decaf" it, unless you have the means and time to use a swiss filter system, and also, green tea and chai DO have caffeine.
I quit all caffeine/coffee on August 6th, about a month before TTC.

I was a total coffee junkie before I got my BFP, I drank 4-5 cups every morning and would only drink the good stuff, straight up black. After BFP I still bought the good stuff just decaf ("naturally decaffeinated" is somehow decaffeinated using water, not chemicals, so just look for that if you go to decaf) but honestly around 7 weeks I started not liking the taste of coffee, period. The smell was good, but if I tried to drink it, it just did nothing for me. I am just now at almost 12 weeks able to drink it but only if it's in "cafe mocha" form. I get a small once a week (non-decaf) just as a little treat. Otherwise I haven't been drinking coffee at all, simply because now suddenly my tastes have changed and I don't care for it without a bunch of sugary stuff being added.
I know plenty of people who drank coffee throughout their PG and their babies are just fine. A cup or two a day is supposed to be safe (200mg/caffeine/day). I wish I could enjoy it again!
I drink decaf coffee, but I will occasionally have a soda or tea with caffeine in it. I think it's because the amount of caffeine in coffee (depending on brand) is much higher than a soda or tea. It makes sense in my head.

I've always been a big coffee drinker, having at least four cups of drip coffee / day... trying to cut back which is what my doc suggested. I am going through severe withdrawals! I'm down to 12-oz cup in the morning and decaf in the afternoon, except a few days where I wasn't able to function at work.
I'm hoping I develop a pregnancy aversion to coffee... would make me a little sad, but it would be much easier. :-) When I was on BC pills after we were married, the hormones made me hate coffee. I went 2 months without having any, but as soon as I stopped taking the BC, I was hooked on it again. Oh well. :-) We'll see.
I'm down to about half a cup total (maybe 6 oz) of regular coffee a day. This was a huge deal for me, b/c I was a big coffee drinker before I got pg. I tried to cut back gradually, beginning a couple weeks before I even knew I was pg, but I still got wicked headaches. I still love the taste, and although decaf isn't quite the same, it's not too bad...I mix the half and half stuff with decaf and have two 10 oz cups. Equals about 5-6 oz of regular.
Re: Do you drink coffee?
i have 1 cup in the morning
Yes, but not often- maybe once a week.
Today I had pumpkin spice latte.

I cut out caffeine altogether. I did with my DD as well.
Well, I eat chocolate, but I don't really count that

decaf for me....and caf free coke
I usually drink Starbucks white mocha and decaf tastes pretty close
I drink @ least one cup a day, sometimes 2.
Up to 3 cups (normal size drip coffee) is considered safe. I drank it throughout my PG w/ DD.
