  Sounds like the soaker I'm knitting.  I'm using the wrong type of yarn so it's turning out teeny tiny.  Guess it'll just be practice or will be saved for the next kid.

  Yup, that was the one I used. I actually made the waistband longer than it's supposed to be though. Last night, on the one I screwed up, the waistband was too small. You are supposed to stretch it somehow as you are sewing, but honestly I have no idea how to pull it one way yet feed it through the other way. Thick fleece doesn't exactly just move itself along...

  You may have to loosen your feed dog to let the fleece through.
