Dr. Brown pitcher question

Does anyone use the Dr.Brown pitcher to make formula? I just got it and I love it. I wish I would have gotten it sooner.

Anyway, if you use it, do you just make the formula and then pour it into bottles right away or do you put the pitcher in the fridge?

The reason Im asking is because I really like to just make the formula and leave it in the pitcher and pour the bottles as needed. The instructions say to make it then pour into the bottles to store. Do you think it makes a difference? Is there something wrong with the pitcher that you cant store it in there?

Re: Dr. Brown pitcher question

  • I have it and I guess I am really bad at reading directions because I don't remember it telling me to pour it into bottles. I just put it in the fridge and rewash it every 24 hours, but we usually empty it before the 24 hours. ?The only time I pour bottles is at night so I don't have to worry about spilling in the middle of the night.?

  • This is what I do too but DH pointed it out to me. I wash it every night after I pour it into the night bottles so Im figuring its ok.

    Thanks.

  •  I keep the formula in it throughout the day, pouring what I need at the time, and then it goes in the dishwasher at night.

  • I have the pitcher and I LOVE it!  I make a fresh pitcher every morning before leaving for work and my dad pours what he needs as the day goes on.  When I get home, I pour the remainder out into bottles for the night and clean/dry the pitcher.  The next day, I start all over again.
  • I kept it in the pitcher.
