  The only way I know was my 28 week u/s. He hasn't really changed position from then. But I can only tell the difference between head, butt and feet/hands, I can't tell if its hands or feet.

  I agree and this is my 3rd pregnancy.  I don't have a clue.  The only thing I know is I hope she is head down in the next few weeks but I'll have to wait for the doc to tell me if she is or not!!

  I was at the OB's office today and she said that his back felt like it was on my left side, but I always get these big bulges out on my right side and I though that was his back...guess it's his legs stretching out:-)  Shows how much I know;-)

  I was also confused and actually worried that a hard part I was feeling was the head.  Ask your doctor because mine was able to feel around on my stomach and confirm that the head was still down and that the hard thing I was feeling was actually the butt.  She described the baby's position as similar to a shrimp which means if the head/butt are on my right, most likely arms and feet are on my left.  But I still feel movements on the right side, so go figure.

  I have no clue what parts I am feeling! I am just beginning to be able to feel something on the outside, there's no telling what it might be!
